ALL FOR FDASK

So, Kitty has still not returned. I’m sad about that. I really hope he isn’t hurt, and maybe wandered into a nice loving home.

I’ve set up a webcam taking pictures out of my window here. The program I use, ConquerCam, will automatically take a shot when it detects motion. After collecting images for several days, I’ve put together some videos!

Finally, I’m hooked on a game right now called World Of Goo.  It’s a totally original puzzle type game… you really have to check it out!

My cat, Kitty, has been gone over two weeks now.  I’m really sad about it, and wish he would just come home.

I did receive a tip from someone via Craigslist this morning telling me about a band of street cats that hangs out in an alley not far from here.  I’m going to go investigate tonight and with any luck, Kitty has joined them!  Anyway, here’s some photos of him!

My cat Kitty, normally an indoor cat, is lost outside somewhere!  Since moving into the new house, he’s been a real rascal trying to get outside.  He’d follow me down the stairs and try to slip through my feet when I wasn’t looking.

Having a few roomates, I knew it was inevitable that he escaped, and lo and behold, he finally has!

His first outside adventure lasted no more than a couple days.  He came back covered in leaves and dirt, with a sad little meow and seemed really happy to be back.

A few days after that, he went out again on another adventure and has not yet returned.  It’s been over a week now and I’m really starting to worry about him!  As I said, he’s been primarily an indoor cat, and likely can’t fend for himself too well against other cats or racoons!  

I made a Craigslist post about him, but so far haven’t had anybody drop me a lead.  Keeping my fingers crossed that Kitty shows up again.  :(

Winter is coming fast.  The nights are getting colder and colder!  I can tell, as the heat isn’t on in my new place yet, and I’ve got several old, large, single pane windows right by my bed!   BRRR.   I need to invest in a heavy blanket soon as the sheet I’ve got just isn’t cutting it.

Looking forward to fall!  Leaves changing colours and all that.  Yay!

Since Monday I’ve been feeling totally under the weather.  Like when I wake up, and even after a few coffees, and I still have that overslept kinda grogginess going on.  I’m assume its the onset of some sort of flu, after talking with a few friends who said that was going around.

Seasons changing leads to big spikes in cold/flus I’ve noticed.

Anyway, I’m listening to a girl singer right now called Sara Bareilles.  I don’t even know what prompted me to get her CD, but it’s great!  Her single on TV that I first saw was ‘Love Song’.  I was also noticing that the majority of the female artists I listen to, are ones I like the look of.  I guess thats the way the majority of music works judging from the popularity of some schmucks.

Years ago I remember a Rollerderby show on TV.  I remember being quite enthusiastic about it.  So it was neat to discover recently that a friend of a friend actually plays for a local team here in Toronto!

Chips ‘Ahoy! is their name… derby is their game.  :)  Apparently the league here is the largest in North America!  As recent as two years ago, A&E (the television station) had a reality show about girls in a league out in Texas.  Good show.  I had no idea we had the biggest!

Anyway, the match tonight is the Smoke City Betties vs. Chips Ahoy.  The girl I know plays for Chips Ahoy so obviously I’ll be rooting for them!  No cheap shots, ok?

I’ve been in Detroit for the last week, on a work trip.

It wasn’t all work though!  While I was there, the Woodward Dream Cruise was going on.  It’s a giant car event and was really quite impressive.

I almost have all of my stuff at the new place now.  All that remains is my big TV, couch, and bookshelves (plus books) from the warehouse where I was living!  Hoping to work that out soon.

Anyway, I found my sd card reader so I’ll share some pics of the place!

Have you seen a radiator before?

I’m curious if any readers here are also located in Toronto.  What resource do you use to find apartments?  I’ve always used Craigslist…  let me know!
