Years ago I remember a Rollerderby show on TV.  I remember being quite enthusiastic about it.  So it was neat to discover recently that a friend of a friend actually plays for a local team here in Toronto!

I’ve been in Detroit for the last week, on a work trip.
It wasn’t all work though!  While I was there, the Woodward Dream Cruise was going on.  It’s a giant car event and was really quite impressive.

I just recently found out that the old Hockey Night in Canada anthem CBC used is being discontinued.  They are currently on the hunt for a new jingle/anthem!

First Night in the New Room
